Omgili Categories

Filed under: News, Omgili — ran @ 7:06 pm

We are happy to announce the addition of over 200 (228 to be exact) categories to Omgili Search. From now on you can refine your search results by targeting the results to discussions that took place under a specific category.
The ability to search by category makes it easier to search for ambiguous terms. For example, if you are looking for communities and discussions about Football Games (computer games and not the actual sport game) you could easily find them with Omgili Games. Find discussions about Cobalt the element and not the car by searching on “Omgili Chemistry“.
It is very easy to switch between categories, simple click on the Category link ot the top and choose the one you like; Omgili will automatically perform a search on the phrase you entered.
I hope you will enjoy this feature as we continue to improve your search experience.

Omgili Health & iMedix

Filed under: News, Omgili — ran @ 7:14 pm

Omgili is a vertical search engine that focuses on discussions and subjective information. “Find out what people are saying” is our slogan and purpose. We found that dividing the “Subjective Search” vertical into even smaller segments is highly beneficial to help you find communities and discussions around specific topics.

We have Reviews, Online Buzz, “Questions & Answers“  and even Japanese and Hebrew sections. We are now very happy to announce Omgili Health in partnership with iMedix.

Omgili Health is a sub-section of Omgili dedicated to finding answers, discussions and communities about health related topics. We partnered up with iMedix to help you find and share health information with users around the world. The idea is that you can make better health decisions using information and support gained by discussing your health experiences with others.

I hope you will enjoy using Omgili Health as we continue to develop and make it even better.  As usual we strive for your feedback, so you are more than welcome to reply to this post or use this form.

Enjoy,
Ran
